Medical Spaces
Capturing Utopia”, FOURNOS Center for Digital Culture
September 19 - September 25, 2005
Dear friends,
Part
of my photographic work Medical Spaces will be projected at
“Capturing Utopia”, FOURNOS Center for Digital Culture
from September 19 through September
25, 2005.
In
Medical Spaces I represent medicines as buildings to comment
on pharmaceutical products as mediators exercising power and
control over the human body.
Also, my digital video Voice mail 2001-04
will be screened at the International Video Art Screening,
“Urban flesh and blood”, at The Kaliningrad
Branch of the National Centre for Contemporary Arts
in Russia on September 30, 2005.
Voice
mail 2001-04 is a parade of fragmented stories, incidents,
continuities and interruptions of communication created and
produced exclusively by the
answering machine.
